Spring has arrived and we are enjoying warmer temps. We’ve been spending more time outdoors, and getting much needed Vitamin D.
Here’s what Miss Patty has been up to in the past few weeks.
Patty’s Fifth Month
Little miss can now sit up, with just minimal support. Previously, she would topple over to her sides, but these days she is able to balance herself and stay put.
We also got to a major milestone: rolling over! Yey! She’s been attempting to do so in the previous weeks, and she has finally done it!
She’s also been on her first road trip, a 2-hour drive to Masterton. Thankfully, she slept the entire time on the way there. We had a picnic, a nice walk and took Patty on her first mini-train ride.
Patty’s Sixth Month
This month was really about Patty getting more time sitting down and exploring her world from a different angle. These days, I help sit her down and she can stay upright without any support. That was quick progress from last month.
We have been taking out the girls a lot this month. It seems that every weekend, we are out and about. I’m not complaining. It gives the girls a chance to get some fresh air and sunshine, and see other people.
We also celebrated Katie’s second birthday. But that will be a separate entry, once I get some free time again. But until then, here’s to celebrating some more milestones with these two girls. Cupcake time, folks!
