Hey there! Spring has been a good time for us here in New Zealand. Lots of sunny days and time spent outside.

Patty’s 7th Month

This month was exciting for little miss. She’s started on solids! We made a big occasion out of it,sat her down on Katie’s high chair and JP gave her the first scoop of rice with milk.

After that, she’s been quite happy trying anything we give her.

We took her on a longer road trip to Rotorua over the Labor Day weekend. It was such a good vacation for us.

Patty’s 8th Month

I may have gotten too excited about giving Patty solids. I gave her some golden Kiwi fruit and before the day ended, she ended up with rashes!

The doctor said not to give her any kiwi fruit till she’s two years old. Sad, she seemed to like it.

This month we took her for a dip in the local pool. Both Patty and Katie had fun with there.

Patty is definitely louder and more active now. Katie seems to like her already and in fact doesn’t mind when her sister bothers her. I just love seeing them together.

It’s a few weeks before Christmas, and it’s going to be a busy few weeks for us. We are definitely looking forward to the holidays! But until then, let’s all have a cupcake.
