We are on the 4th day of Alert Level 4 Lockdown here in New Zealand. One suspected case of the Delta variant over in Auckland, and the entire country is closed..for the next few days. The announcement last Tuesday caused me a lot of anxiety, much like last year’s lockdown announcement. But what can we do but to follow the rules, right?

In Level 4, we can still go outside for a walk, as long as we put our masks on and stay far away from other people. The park near our house is the perfect place for us to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. Katie now walks with us, and does not ask to be carried. A relief, especially for John, because she has been gaining weight this past few months. Too heavy to carry now.
