What do you watch on Netflix these days? I took a break from watching Korean Dramas in the middle of this year to read more books and watch other stuff in Netflix. There is a function in the Netflix called “My List” where you save the movies and shows you want to watch in the future, and I noticed that mine was already stuffed with so many that I started watching them already to get them off the list.

Here are a few that I’ve watched:

Schitt’s Creek — probably one of the best shows I’ve watched in recent years. I absolutely love Moira’s character and her vocabulary. Plus that love story between David and Patrick is for the books. All four actors won at this year’s Emmy’s so that’s a clue how good they are. My favorite is definitely Catherine O’Hara who played Moira. She is absolutely hilarious here.

How to Get Away with Murder — Finally finished this series and got the closure I needed. I feel like this ended at the right time, because seriously, how many more murders should happen before anything gets resolved. I was satisfied with how each character’s stories ended, except for Frank and Bonny–because they deserved a happy one after all the things they went through.

Documentaries

Mucho Mucho Amor –I’m not really familiar with this person from the 90s, but apparently hee was quite famous worldwide at that time. I love Person’s story.

[Un] Well — A six-part series that talks about the latest fads in the wellness industry.  Essential oils, tantric sex, bulking up with breast milk, fasting, ayahuasca, bee sting therapy–all popular and controversial treatments that many people promote, and yet science rejects. Really eye-opening and informative.

Indian Matchmaking –A fascinating look at how Indian matchmaking works. It’s amazing that even at this day and age, and even in America, matchmaking and arranged relationships still happen. I’m not judging the culture, just really interested in how the matchmaking is done.

Netflix Documentaries 2020

Jeffrey Epstein — This documentary tells how Jeffrey Epstein managed to lure young girls for many years and not get caught until many years later. It was really upsetting to watch, and I was so sad and horrified for the girls involved.

The Game Changers — I heard of this documentary while listening to an Oprah podcast. It just might convince you to go all out vegetarian–at least I did, for a couple of days.

The Mind of Aaron Hernandez — He was one of football’s most promising players, when he committed a horrible crime. This documentary attempts to explain how Aaron Rodriguez became one of the most well-liked players in the NFL to a convicted murderer.

I’ve actually watched a coupe more, but this list will be too long. I’ll cover them next time.  What have you watched lately?
