I’ve recently re-discovered the music and art of Joni Mitchell–musician, songwriter and painter. She gained popularity during the 70’s (Did I tell you I love music from that era?). Too often, she’s dubbed as the “female” Bob Dylan (another interesting musician), but she refuses the title.

I love her husky voice, folksy instrumentals and great, great lyrics. Here’s a couple of lines from her song i’ve been playing over and over the past few days. several versions of this song are out there, but the original is still the best.
