On Saturday, Patty and I attended a birthday party for a friend’s daughter. Two things struck me. One, Patty has grown up over the past year and look how pretty she is! Two, it seems strange to be celebrating at this time, with war going on in Ukraine, and we are in the middle of a pandemic. But then again, life HAS to go on. Even in these strange times, we have to find something good, a reason to smile, and not let bad things weigh us down.
