John and I are sighing with relief, as Katie will be going back to school, after more than eight weeks of sumemr holiday. It’s quite hard to juggle working and keeping Katie occupied, but somehow, with teamwork, we survived! I’m not quite sure how we’ll do summer holidays when Patty starts school, but we’ll figure it out when that day comes.
To celebrate, we took Katie out to a nice lunch. We have been trying to get her used to eating at restaurants, as it’s a different environment than McDonald’s (ie. waiting for the food, being a bit more quiet, no play area). Success has been on and off, but she’s getting better at eating out. Here’s to kids going back to school!
