52 Week Project-Week 18: After brunch at our favourite Chocolate Fish Cafe, we drove out to Petone Beach. It’s another favourite spot for the girls to throw stones to the water. Katie is always attempting to jump in to the freezing waters, but lately she has been complying when we tell her “No”. We think she is slowly understanding what we say. She still takes off her shoes to feel the sand on her feet. I think it’s a sensory thing with her. But who doesn’t like sand in their toes, right?
