Week 10 of 52 Week Project: Our first time at Wainuiomata Beach. This beach is not for swimming. It is quite rugged, with waves crashing along the rocky shore. There is a nice water path, which is a part of the Wainuiomata River. The girls enjoyed throwing giant rocks on the water. The weather was good–not too sunny, wind was tolerable. We will come back again to see the lighthouse and maybe the seals (in winter).
