2020 has been quite the year, ‘no? I clearly remember writing down my goals and things I want to accomplish a few weeks into the New Year, with the usual optimism and resolve. But then, Covid happened, and I’ve had to change and focus on different things.
I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to the end of the year. My family and I are quite lucky to not have felt the impact of this year’s events, but I just feel that there’s too many negative vibes in 2020 for a lot of people. I just feel like the New Year can’t come fast enough so we can all just start over.
It took me a while to come up with my four goals for this year, because there’s so many upcoming activities in this last quarter–me starting a new job, Katie going for school visits to prepare her for her new school, Christmas and all the activities around that time. I know it will be a stressful time, that’s why my goals are really more for me to take care of myself, physically and mentally.
If you’re new to the Four Simple Goals concept, here is the link to how it works. I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now (last year’s) and I find that it helps me focus on things I need to do to accomplish my “big” goals. As of today, there’s only 91 days remaining in 2020, so I really hope I do these things by the end of the year.
At the end of this year, or maybe the beginning of next, I will write about how I did in this challenge. I hope you try and join me in putting down your Four Simple Goals for this year. Let me know what yours are and let’s do this together!
